#MinsGame Day 9

I’m still finding stuff on surfaces like the table in my study, so for me this is a great way of showing the amount of crap I have lying around, before I even get to the things that I actually value! So today is a proper list of the things that I probably should have got rid of when I got them. Things I thought I might need and yet actually don’t and things I kept because they were given to me by others.

I bought an SSD for my Thinkpad and it came with a manual and a spacer in case I wanted to put it into a larger drive bay. Since the Thinkpad didn’t need that spacer of the manual at this point, both have sad unused. Time to let them both go into the recycling.

I got this film trivia game as a Christmas present. I hate receiving presents, especially when I’m not likely to use them. I’d rather receive some money or a cheque or something else I know I can use effectively. I don’t play these kinds of games — a bit like card games, so they’re going as well.

Well I found another notepad. It seems like my mother will be well stocked for a while!

There are two programmes from events I have been to. They were great at the time and I’m really glad I went to them, but I don’t need them to remember the good times that I had listening to the beautiful music. The programmes aren’t what is important, the memories are. The same as the envelope for wedding invitation — I don’t need to keep it, so it’s going too.
Lastly, two letters from my bank a number of years ago about shares I have in the bank. I planned to read them, but let’s face it, I never did. They’re irrelevant at this point. They can go.

On the other hand, Dan is going deep! These are some serious things! Pokemon alone would give me pause, what a game!
