#MinsGame Day 6

Here we are at Day 6 and it’s time to get rid of more stuff!

I got these recipe books from my mum when I went to university, as I think she had them lying around too. I think I looked at one of them once and that was only because they were on the shelf. The rest of the time I’ve always used the internet for meal ideas. There’s no point having these, so they’re off to the charity shop.

Apologies for the poor photo, I was in quite a rush to get out the house. I got this book along with a lot of others from my grandmother. She was a history teacher and so this was one of hers from the 1970s. I’m not going to need this, so it’s time to go.

This was my old Moleskine notepad from university from 2010 to 2012. It was my notebook and wallet for those two years whilst at university. I scribbled everything from lecture notes to shopping lists.

I’ve held onto this for a while because it had a friend’s article in it. She wrote it a number of years ago and sent it to me at the time. I held onto it because I was impressed by what she had done and then kept it with the note she sent with it, a bit like a cherished letter from a friend or family member. I’m luckily still friends with her and see her from time to time, so it seems a bit silly to be holding onto it when I can tell her in person how impressed I am and how much I value her. I’ve also got no real understanding or interest in skiing, so I don’t really need to keep the magazine for factual reasons.
