Completely – I grew up listening to audiobooks, so the jump to podcasts was an easy one. Then the jump back to audiobooks was easy too. Plus I was gifted a year of Audible, so that made it even easier!

I love the idea that some books just jump into your list whereas others really have to fight to get there! I actually went through a phase of picking audiobooks from the library solely on their title and cover. I didn’t even read the blurb!

I have what I assume to be an idiosyncratic system of two to four books on the go at once. One fiction audiobook, one non-fiction audiobook plus one eBook and one printed book of whatever I want. Each of them can only be replaced by another of their type.

That means I effectively have four “To read” queues going at the same time.

Ruchi Das mentioned that I should probably write an article about this, because it’s odd! 🙈
